Platinum Research Extends R&D Agreement With U. of Texas at Arlington
DALLAS, February 19, 2008/PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Platinum Research Organization (OTC Bulletin Board: PLRO)
(http://www.platinumresearch.com) has extended its research and development agreement with the University of Texas at Arlington (UTA)
for another year, according to company CEO
John T. (Cork) Jaeger. Platinum has been working with UTA since 2000 to develop and refine advanced lubricant additives and coatings for the
automotive and general industrial markets.

 |
'UTA has an outstanding group of researchers, headed by Dr. Pranesh Aswath, and the relationship has been a highly
productive cornerstone of our product research and development,' said Jaeger.
'We recently released TechroBond 280, our first product for the commercial marketplace, which was a direct result of work with our UTA R&D
team,' he said. 'Other products for automotive engine oils and greases are in advanced stages of testing. We also have testing agreements
with major corporations, which we can't detail because of nondisclosure agreements.'
The contract for 2008 continues or extends the research UTA is doing in four areas: engine oil additives, industrial grease additives,
anti-corrosion coatings for aluminum and anti-fouling paints for ships.
'Over the time that we've been working with Platinum, our relationship has grown stronger every year,' said Dr. Pranesh Aswath, professor
of materials science and engineering at UTA. 'This has been a very good relationship for UTA and our students and, I hope, for Platinum
as well. We have learned a lot from working with the company and we've achieved some significant results in our research for them.'
To date the research at UTA has led to the development of several new industrial grease products as well as several new discoveries
in anti-wear chemistries for engine oils. The research performed at UTA has resulted in the filing of seven patents on behalf of PRO.
